This Privacy Policy describes the information collected by Project Energy Savers, LLC (“PES”), DBA “Water Education Group”, how that information may be used, with whom it may be shared, and your choices about such uses and disclosures. By using the website www.watereducationgroup.com (the “Site”) and the services, features, content, applications or widgets offered by PES (collectively with the Site, the “Services”), you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This Policy forms an integral part of PES’s Terms of Use Agreement, which is incorporated by reference. Any capitalized term used but not defined in this Policy will have the meaning defined in the Terms of Use Agreement. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully when using the Site and/or Service.


The Information PES Collects

a) Information You Provide

PES may collect and store any personal information you enter through the Services or the Site. This includes identifying information, such as your name, company name, occupation, home and/or office address, phone number, email address, and credit card information.

b) Information Collected Automatically

Like many sites on the Internet, PES automatically collects information from your browser when you visit the Site. PES does not provide any personal information to these third parties.


How PES Uses the Information It Collects

 PES may use information that it collects about you to:

  • deliver the services that you have requested, including but not limited to by e-mailing you newsletters and sending you magazines, DVDs, books, or other purchased items.
  • manage your account and provide you with customer support.
  • develop and display content and advertising tailored to your interests on our site and other sites.
  • enforce or exercise any rights in PES’s Terms of Use.
  • perform functions as otherwise described to you at the time of collection.


With Whom PES Shares Your Information

PES does not share your personal information with others except as indicated below or when PES informs you and gives you an opportunity to opt out of having your personal information shared. PES may share personal information with:

If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, we may transfer personally identifiable information to the United States and process it there. By using the Site and/or Services you thereby consent to such transfer.
  • PES may sell, transfer or otherwise share some or all of its assets, including your information, whether personally identifiable or not, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets or in the event of bankruptcy.

There are a number of places on the Site and/or Services where you may click on a link to access other websites that do not operate under this Privacy Policy. PES recommends that you consult the privacy statements of all third party websites you visit by clicking on the “privacy” link typically located at the bottom of the webpage you are visiting.


How You Can Access Your Information

If you are a registered user with an account to use the Services, you have the ability to review and update your personal information online by logging into your account and clicking on Settings. You also may delete or disable your account at any time by visiting the “Settings” page for your account. If you delete or disable your account, PES may still retain certain information associated with your account for analytical purposes and recordkeeping integrity, as well as to prevent fraud, enforce PES’s Terms of Use, take actions PES deems necessary to protect the integrity of the Services or its users, or take other actions otherwise permitted by law. In addition, if certain information has already been provided to third parties as described in this Privacy Policy, retention of that information will be subject to those third parties’ policies.


How PES Protects Your Personal Information

When you provide personal information through the Site or Services, the information may be sent to servers located in the United States and other countries around the world. PES takes appropriate security measures (including physical, electronic and procedural measures) to help safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access and disclosure. PES wants you to feel confident using the Site and Services. However, no system can be completely secure. Therefore, although PES takes steps to secure your information, PES does not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information will always remain secure.


Children’s Privacy

PES restricts the use of the Site and Services to individuals age 13 and above. PES does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.


Visiting the Site and Services From Outside the United States

This Privacy Policy is intended to cover collection of information on the Site and Services from residents of the United States. If you are visiting the Site or using the Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where PES’s servers are located and PES’s central database is operated. By using the Site and/or Services, you understand that your information may be transferred to PES’s facilities and those third parties with whom PES shares it as described in this Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring that information you share conforms to all local data protection laws.


Changes to the Privacy Policy

PES will occasionally update this Privacy Policy. When PES posts changes to this Privacy Policy, it will revise the date at the top of this Privacy Policy. PES recommends that you check the Site from time to time to inform yourself of any changes in this Privacy Policy or any of PES’s other policies.
